September is here

Its hard to believe that it is 3 months since I jetted off to Malta for a weeks break. Not sure how that time has gone so quickly.

This morning I sat outside with my early morning cuppa, my dressing gown wrapped tightly around me as the mornings have now taken on a more Autumnal feel, the morning light has gradually changed and instead of waking up at 4.30-5am to bright sunshine, it is still quite dark, not really showing light until after 5.30am.

As the trees start to change colour, I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by.

I am now 45 days away from my next trip, 75 days to my birthday trip and 117 days to my 'Twixmas' trip. I am ready for all three.

The last 2.5 months have been hard as I have been fighting an infection that has absolutely knocked me sideways, too many courses of antibiotics and nurse and emergency appointments. I even resorted to 'operating' on myself as no one was listening to me. This is not as dramatic as it sounds, but who knew that damage to a nail cuticle, and the ensuing recurring infection could be so debilitating.

After removing 'something' from my cuticle, which had damaged my nail badly, I began to feel better. Its taken a couple of weeks for the wound to heal, but I am on the other side now.

Life carried on through all of this, I was busy with full time work and booking holidays for my Holiday business and  there have not been enough hours in a month never mind a day.

However  as we head into Autumn, thoughts are turning to next year and where I will be taking myself.

Have you thought about next years holidays?

Get in touch for great ideas and some of the best deals around.

Happy September
