Day 2 on the windy Isle

After a very early night and a lovely much needed sleep, it was time to start the holiday properly.

After doing my 'chefy'thing and poaching eggs for breakfast, Tracey Steve and I headed out for more supplies, getting side tracked on the way by the lure of peppermint tea in the sun.

It was decided that this was a pool day, as probably all my days will be (and I'm good with that, lots off r and r).

A swim was on the menu and after lunch more swimming and sunbathing.

We were invited to join the last bingo session of the season .......and I won

Before we knew it, it was 6pm and we took our sun tortured bodies back to the villa, where quick showers and changed and off in a taxi to the harbour.

We headed off for a Mexican meal at Emma's cantina.

Wowsers it was good and finished off with a chocolate tequila.

We had a bit of a hairy taxi ride home, I am sure in all my days I've never been in a taxi that overtook 5 cars on a pitch black road  but hey, there's another tick on the 'things to do' box.

And with a fabulous moon shining down on us, bed was calling before I knew it.

And now day 3 begins
