So yesterday I headed off to Leeds to catch a late afternoon flight to Bratislava, and late afternoon became early evening, as we were delayed, but no worries, I had no luggage but a ruck sack, I know, I know, you don't believe me , but its true and it meant no hanging about straight out of the airport, into a taxi and off to my apartment.
I starting to see myself as a cut price Judith Chalmers, just a tad less orange. I couldn't resist the call of a cheap flight out to Slovakia.
The apartment was found on booking.com and once again it did not disappoint.
what a fabulous place for the next few days.
I am right in the centre of the old town, in an old building whose facade hides these fabulous apartments, super modern and just perfect. I can actually see me not wanting to leave.
Open plan with a kitchen, dining area, lounge, double bedroom and bathroom with a bath.
Winner ,winner.
After a long soak in the bath, I realised that the bathroom light had to go on my wanted list.
I had a couple of glasses of Moet before I hit the sack. MOET I hear you scream, well it was not what I had pre ordered but never one to waste champagne.....
And now I am up and ready to head into town. I have a lot to tick off my list today.
Bratislava here I come..
