Well I am getting closer to my next jaunt, which will include my first trip on Ryan air in quite a few years.
I am also going 'home' for the first time in nearly 6 years and I am excited beyond belief.
So where am I going?
Well, I am heading off to the city of Beauvais in Northern France.
As many of you who read my blog 'Tales from the Boundary' will remember, I was a regular visitor to France and have been for more years than I care to mention. So now that I am getting closer to my departure date, I am sooooo excited.
I have rented an apartment for my stay which is across the road from the Cathedral and I already have a list of things that I want to do whilst I am there, all of which I will bore you with later.
So I still have over a week until I go, but the bags are packed and I am ready to hot foot it to the airport.
I have also made the decision that next year (2024) as it is the year of a big birthday ( yes I am finally 21!!!), I am going to do something every month, that I have never done before. I will keep you updated on this from January next year. I am still working this out.
As I have done a lot of the things that people rave about at the moment ( Glastonbury ( twice too many time), Henley Regatta (regularly), Cowes week ( regularly)Ascot ( too regularly) Wimbledon (often) these things will not be featuring, and neither will any bridges be involved in the year long party.
Right I am off to make another list, of things I may/may not need. I am taking a case to France , it is nearly empty so that I can fill it with ( hopefully) lots of goodies.
