Hurrah!!!! The end of February is in sight and we are now seeing lighter mornings and evenings here in the North East of Blighty.
Its been a hard slog the last few weeks. I still have my gallbladder but have lost a sister. Life can be very hard and unforgiving at times.
As I move slowly on my thoughts are turning to having a break. I do know that once I have had my gallbladder removed ( and due to a previous health scare) I will not be allowed to travel for 2 months, no driving for a few weeks and no flying for the whole time.
As that slowly sinks in I begin to plan for the end of the year as it seems all my holidays will come at once.
I have holiday booked in the last months of the year, and now want to plan to go away for Xmas. Its what is keeping me going at the moment. After last years epic (for me as a working woman) 6 holidays, this year looks to be fewer. and that's not a bad thing.
I do need to take care of me and get better both physically and mentally. Easier said than done, but something that will happen gradually.
Saying that I am preparing for a quick trip away, and it can't come quickly enough. I have called this my 'sticking plaster' holiday. It won't fix me but it will hold me together for a little bit longer.
